[ the video starts with a cardboard box taking up most of the view before it's plopped down into Ig's lap, most of him appearing behind it. he waves his hands at the comm over the top of it to earn fraser's attention while two tiny ears begin poking up over the side.

it's only a second before he starts signing, hands still over the top of the box where little noises are being emitted from. his left hand curls into a fist, thumb sticking out at top, before he settles it into the palm of his right. bringing his hands closer to himself, his eyebrows raise in question.

will you help me?? ]

[ Fraser sits forward when he realises that it's a call from Ig coming through, because it needs his full attention. He frowns, then signs right back to him in words that Ig already knows.

Is that a dog? ]

[nofollowing]

[ he shakes his head all too quickly, dipping his hands into the box to pull out two small kittens, which in turn only look at him and begin mewling that much louder. placing them back in gently, the noise still continuing, he makes a face before two slow signs.

they-follow me. ]

[ They're little he signs back, meaning they're tiny, perhaps too small to be away from their mother, and Fraser's frown deepens slightly.

I'll come to see you. He signs. Don't go anywhere. ]

[ little-little, is his response because he doesn't get it. his knowledge of creatures is fairly limited and he can't help that they started calling to him. or maybe he should've. or maybe they wouldn't let go. they were sitting out there on the sidewalk, he didn't know what to do.

but he nods. you stay, i go. no following.

i-stay is absurdly easy to sign, the y shape of his fingers plopped down towards his lap. but he points off screen. he doesn't know how to say outside, but that's where he'll be. ]

[ Outside he signed, cocking his head to one side. Okay. Outside it is.

Tiny kittens. Diefenbaker would love them, but maybe this once he'd leave the wolf with Ray. His partner needed the company. ]

[ he nods, sticking his hand in the box to absently console one of the mewling kittens before bringing his hands back up to mimic.

outside-house. he looks pleased for a second and then signs house again before picking up the box and flicking off his comm. he'll be waiting!!
